Burger with Pink Tomatoes
Ingredients
- Brioche - 4 pieces
- Burger Patty - 14.1 oz
- Ketchup - 4.2 oz
- Pickles - 2.1 oz
- Romaine lettuce - 1 oz
- Mixed tomatoes of different colors - 6.3 oz
- Cheshire Cheese - 0.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the bun in half lengthwise and warm it in a toaster until the inside surface is toasted. (You can also warm it in a pan without oil, just on the inside, to create a crust.)
Step 2
Form a patty (120–150 g) from ground beef. The mixture should only include coarsely chopped beef, salt, and pepper. The thickness of the patty should be about 2 cm.
Step 3
Grill the patty on both sides for 2–4 minutes depending on the desired doneness.
Step 4
Before removing the patty, place a slice of cheese on top to let it melt slightly.
Step 5
Spread ketchup on both halves of the bun.
Step 6
On the bottom bun, place the patty with cheese, sliced tomatoes (2–3 slices depending on the size of the tomato), then sliced pickles, a leaf of romaine lettuce, and top it with the upper bun.
