Ingredients
- Peanut Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Chicken fillet - 2 lbs
- Garam Masala - 2 teaspoons
- Paprika - 2 teaspoons
- Ground coriander - 2 teaspoons
- Mild Chili Spice - ¼ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Cardamom - 6 pieces
- Tomato Puree - 12.3 oz
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt powder - 2.1 oz
- Cream - 4 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Rice - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat the wok well, pour in 1 tablespoon of oil and spread it across the surface. Sauté the chicken for 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the pan.
Step 2
Reduce the heat and add the butter to the wok, melting it. Add garam masala, paprika, coriander, ginger, chili, crushed cinnamon, and cardamom. Sauté for 1 minute, then return the chicken to the wok and mix well with the spices.
Step 3
Add the tomato puree and sugar, and simmer, stirring constantly, for 15 minutes until the chicken is tender and the sauce thickens.
Step 4
Add the yogurt, cream, and lemon juice, and simmer for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens well.
Step 5
Serve with rice.
