Description

The dressing can be salted. After mixing, the salad can also be salted if it lacks flavor.

Ingredients

  • Red Cabbage - ¼ piece
  • Pomegranate - 1 piece
  • Apple - 1 piece
  • Orange - 1 piece
  • Walnuts - 1.8 oz
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Balsamic Vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Take 1 large orange or 2 small ones.

Step 2

Finely shred the cabbage.

Step 3

Remove the core and skin from the apple, and slice it.

Step 4

Peel the orange and slice it in the same way.

Step 5

Add the fruits to the cabbage.

Step 6

In a dry skillet, toast the walnuts for 1-2 minutes, then chop them coarsely with a knife.

Step 7

In a separate bowl, combine honey with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Step 8

Pour the dressing over the salad.

Step 9

Gather the pomegranate seeds: cut it in half, place one half in your palm, and gently tap the skin with a spoon.

Sprinkle the fruit and cabbage mixture with pomegranate seeds and toasted walnuts.

Taste and add salt and pepper if necessary.

Instead of orange, you can use segments of tangerine or other citrus fruits in this dish.
