Description

Cabbage and minced meat have been long-time companions. It doesn't matter what kind of minced meat it is, as long as it’s meat or poultry—chicken, pork, beef, or lamb. Cabbage wonderfully balances the intensity of protein and fat that almost any minced meat contains, and together these two ingredients create a juicy, light, and at the same time nutritious dish. This recipe for cabbage with minced meat is basic, and from it, you can prepare many different dishes—from pies to hearty stews, complemented with various ingredients. Traditionally, cabbage and meat are seasoned with classic tomato paste, giving the dish a vibrant character and a pleasant sweet-sour note that enhances the naturally bland cabbage.
