- Conchiglie Pasta - 17.6 oz
- Lean Beef - 17.6 oz
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 14.1 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Red Grape Juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil leaves - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Let's start with the sauce. Sauté the onions in olive oil in a skillet. Add the ground beef, breaking it up into small pieces with a spatula, and season with salt and pepper. When the meat is almost cooked, add tomatoes or tomato paste (depending on the season). Finally, add basil and a tablespoon of red wine if you like. Your sauce should be liquid enough to pour over the pasta in the baking dish.
Step 2
Take out a baking dish and grease it with olive oil. Preheat the oven to 356°F. Fill the cannelloni with sauce and generously sprinkle with cheese.
Step 3
Place in the oven for about 20 minutes, until the pasta is cooked.
Step 4
Serve garnished with basil leaves, accompanied by a glass of red wine.
