Ingredients
- Conchiglie Pasta - 8 pieces
- Courgette - 5.3 oz
- Chicken fillet - 5.3 oz
- Onion - ½ head
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1.4 oz
- Milk - 13 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, prepare the filling. Make minced chicken from the chicken fillet (using a blender, meat grinder, or simply chop finely); peel the zucchini and remove the seeds, then grate it on a coarse grater. Finely chop half of the onion. Mix the minced chicken, zucchini, and onion, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
You can preheat the oven to 356°F while preparing the sauce. Melt the butter over low heat, sift in the flour and mix, then add the milk and, stirring constantly, bring the sauce to the consistency of liquid sour cream.
Step 3
Fill the cannelloni with the filling and arrange them in a baking dish. Pour the sauce over and bake for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with grated cheese, and return to the oven for another 5–7 minutes, until the cheese melts. You can also add some fresh herbs to the grated cheese.
