- Jalapeño pepper - 6 oz
- Tomatoes - 8.8 oz
- Canned Pineapple - 2 cans
- Apple - 7.1 oz
- Canned Green Chili Pepper - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Broth - ½ cup
- Canned White Beans - 14.8 oz
- Canned black beans - 14.8 oz
- Canned Kidney Beans - 14.8 oz
- Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Chili Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Ground Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Fill a large pot with water. Add the onion and bell pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the sweet potato, tomato paste, tomatoes with jalapeño, canned pineapple, green apples, chili peppers, and vegetable broth.
Step 3
Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer covered for 45 minutes.
Step 4
Add the beans and spices. Cover and continue to cook on low heat for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
