Ingredients
- Carp - 1 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 3 fl oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cilantro - 2 bunches
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sumac - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the carp by removing the scales, entrails, and gills, then pat it dry with a paper towel and make deep cuts along the backbone down to the bone.
Step 2
Slice the onion into rings, stuff the fish, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Marinate in soy sauce with added garlic and sumac. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Then bake the fish for 30 minutes at 374°F until golden brown.
Step 5
When serving, squeeze lemon over the fish and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
