Ingredients
- Carp - 70.5 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the carp, remove the gills, and rinse thoroughly.
Step 2
Then cut off the head and fins, and use them to make fish soup.
Step 3
Make cuts along the sides of the carp down to the bone, rub the fish with a mixture of mayonnaise and spices (to taste), and let it marinate for an hour.
Step 4
Create a 'nest' for the fish using foil, pour vegetable oil on the bottom, and layer with sliced carrots. Place the carp on top. Seal the ends of the foil and place it in a preheated oven at medium heat.
Step 5
Bake the fish in the oven for at least an hour. However, after about forty minutes, open the foil on top to allow for a golden crust to form.
Step 6
The dish is ready. It is best served with boiled potatoes and vegetables.
