Carp Baked with Mint

Ingredients

  • Ground coriander - 1 stalk
  • Carp - 2 lbs
  • Lemon - ½ piece
  • Olive Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Fresh Mint - 1 stalk

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Thoroughly wash the cleaned and gutted fish under running water.

Step 2

Mix olive oil with salt and pepper, and rub the fish well inside and out.

Step 3

Place several slices of lemon (as many as will fit) and mint with cilantro inside the belly. Make incisions on the side with a sharp knife.

Step 4

Bake in the oven at 356°F for 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the desired level of doneness. Serve with lemon.
