Ingredients
- Peanut Butter - 2 spoons
- Carp - 1 piece
- Scallions - 1 bunch
- Ginger - 0.9 oz
- Apple Wine - 2 fl oz
- Soy Sauce - 2 fl oz
- Sugar - 3 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Heat peanut oil in a wok, place the whole cleaned carp in the pan, and fry for two minutes on each side. Transfer to a serving plate.
Step 2
Add the chopped onion and ginger to the wok and sauté for twenty to thirty seconds, then pour in 150 ml of water, rice wine, soy sauce, and add sugar. Bring to a boil.
Step 3
Return the fish to the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and cook covered for seven to ten minutes.
Step 4
Transfer the cooked carp to a serving platter, top it with green onions, and reduce the remaining liquid for eight minutes before drizzling the resulting sauce over the fish.
