Carrot Patties with Celery
Ingredients
- Turnips - 3 pieces
- Celery stalk - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Breadcrumbs - ¼ cup
- Chervil - 1.8 oz
- Large eggs - 2 pieces
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Natural Yogurt - ½ cup
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater to get about 1.5 cups. Finely chop the celery to get 0.75 cup. Grate the onion on a coarse grater to get 0.5 cup. Transfer the vegetables to a bowl.
Step 2
Add the breadcrumbs, eggs, chopped chervil, salt, and pepper to the vegetables. Mix well and shape into patties, taking about 1.5 tablespoons of the mixture for each.
Step 3
Heat a large skillet with a small amount of vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the patties for 3–4 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate.
Step 4
Serve topped with yogurt.
