Ingredients
- Milk - 5 fl oz
- Pickled Cauliflower - 17.6 oz
- Ocean salt - ½ spoons
- Water - 1 qt
- Cheese Spread - 7.1 oz
- White bread - 3 pieces
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - ½ cloves
- Ground Nutmeg - ½ spoons
- Butter - ¼ spoons
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Add the cauliflower to the boiling mixture of water, milk, and salt. Bring it back to a boil and then let it simmer over medium heat for 5–8 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 446°F.
Step 3
Grate the cheese using a fine grater.
Step 4
In a food processor, combine quartered slices of bread, minced garlic, and nutmeg, then drizzle with olive oil. Process for a few seconds.
Step 5
Grease a round or rectangular baking dish with butter (a small-sized dish is needed for 500 grams of frozen cabbage), then use a slotted spoon to remove the cabbage from the broth and layer it evenly in the dish. Top with a layer of cheese, followed by breadcrumbs. Season with pepper and place in the oven for 10–15 minutes, until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Step 6
Serve in a dish; it's best enjoyed warm.
