Ingredients

  • Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
  • Pickled Chanterelles - 21.2 oz
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Butter - to taste
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Before starting to cook, prepare the chanterelles — wash them, let the water drain, slice the larger mushrooms, and leave the smaller ones whole.

Step 2

Next, heat butter in a deep skillet over high heat. Sauté a thinly sliced medium onion in the butter (slice the onion to your preference). The onion should take on a golden color.

Step 3

Then add the mushrooms. Season with salt to taste and stir the chanterelles with the onion. The mushrooms will release their moisture, and over high heat, it will evaporate for about 20-25 minutes. Be sure to stir occasionally.

Step 4

Once most of the water has evaporated, reduce the heat to low. Add the sour cream and stir. Let it simmer on low heat for another 10-12 minutes.
