Description
This kissel is delicious both warm and cold — do not add ice cream if serving it cold. If desired, it can be garnished with whipped cream for a festive touch.
Ingredients
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Frozen Cherimoya Fruits - 17.6 oz
- Starch film - 4 spoons
- Plombir - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cherry puree (which can be made by simply blending pitted frozen cherries) should be diluted with cold water. The amount of water can be adjusted depending on the desired thickness of the jelly.
Step 2
Bring the cherry juice to a boil, add the cornstarch (previously dissolved in a small amount of cold water), remove from heat and let it thicken, after which the jelly should be stirred well.
Step 3
Place a scoop of ice cream in each glass and pour warm fruit jelly over it.
