Description
This sauce pairs well with meat dishes and pasta.
Ingredients
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Dried Rosemary - a pinch
- Capers - 2 tablespoons
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Balsamic Vinegar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the garlic and cut the cherry tomatoes (for this appetizer, it's best to use a mix of red and yellow cherry tomatoes) in half.
Step 2
Heat a pot over medium heat, add olive oil, a pinch of oregano, garlic, and capers (drained), then add the cherry tomatoes and sauté, stirring. Add salt and pepper, then add the butter and balsamic vinegar (about 3 tablespoons or more). Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes, remove from heat, and serve hot or let it cool to room temperature.
