Ingredients
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Water - 3 tablespoons
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken fillet - 8.8 oz
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Cream 22% - 7 fl oz
- Hard Cheese - 5.3 oz
- Nutmeg - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the egg and butter without achieving a uniform consistency. Add water. Add flour and salt. Knead the dough.
Step 2
Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the filling: slice the onion into half rings. Sauté until golden. Cut the zucchini. Add it to the onion and sauté.
Step 4
Add the chicken (if using raw chicken fillet, sauté it after the onion, then add the zucchini).

Cook until done. Transfer to a plate to cool the filling.

Prepare the filling mixture: lightly beat 2 eggs. Add cream. Mix well. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Add the cheese to the mixture and mix well. Add nutmeg. Salt if necessary.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Then grease the baking dish with butter.

Remove the dough from the refrigerator and place it in the dish, creating edges. Prick the dough in several places with a fork.

Place the filling in the dish.

Pour the filling mixture over it. Place in the oven for 40-45 minutes. Keep an eye on it; the pie should brown nicely.

Serve the quiche hot.
