Ingredients
- Poultry - 2 lbs
- Pumpkin - 2 lbs
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1.4 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Toasted Sesame - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken and dry it with paper towels, then cut it into medium-sized pieces.
Step 2
Rub the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and mustard. Let it marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature.
Step 3
Wash the pumpkin and cut it into medium cubes. Place it in a baking dish in a single layer with a little vegetable oil, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with melted butter.
Step 4
Place the pumpkin in an oven preheated to 356°F and bake for 20 minutes until partially cooked.
Step 5
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add the chicken, frying on both sides until golden brown.

Transfer the chicken to the pumpkin and sprinkle with garlic and chopped herbs, return the dish to the oven and cook until done, approximately 20–25 minutes.

Remove the dish with the pumpkin and chicken when ready, cover with foil or a lid, and let it rest for 10 minutes.

When serving, you can sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
