Description
You can also drizzle the chicken with lemon juice. Instead of vegetable oil for greasing the baking dish, you can use butter.
Ingredients
- Poultry - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Garlic - 1 head
- Salt - to taste
- Fresh basil leaves - 1 teaspoon
- Curry - 1 teaspoon
- Red Long Chili Peppers - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Bay leaf - 4 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the chicken and cut it into pieces (legs, thighs, breasts). Season with salt.
Step 2
Cut the onion into large half-rings and simply peel the garlic.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 4
Place the chicken pieces in the dish and add 1/2 cup of cold water. Scatter the onion, garlic, and bay leaves on top. Sprinkle the chicken with the spice mixture. Cover the dish with foil.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to medium temperature (about 356°F) and bake for 2–2.5 hours.
