Ingredients
- Milk - 1 glass
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 2 pieces
- Butter - 2 spoons
- Garlic - 4 pieces
- Citrus Zest Mix - to taste
- Saffron - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Rinse the fillet and pat it dry. Season both sides with salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat some butter and fry the meat for 4 minutes on each side.
Step 2
Peel the garlic and place it in a baking dish. Layer the sautéed meat on top, ensuring that there is a clove of garlic under each piece of meat.
Step 3
In the skillet where the meat was cooked, pour in the milk, add a few strips of lemon zest (I just tossed in some small pieces), saffron, and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Once the sauce comes to a boil, pour it over the chicken and place it in an oven preheated to 392°F for 30 minutes. During this time, be sure to baste the chicken with the sauce about 5 to 6 times – this is the secret to the dish's juiciness.
