Description

Chicken breast patties can be your triumph or your downfall. There is nothing simpler and nothing worse than dry chicken breast. To prevent this from happening, the patties include chopped onion and bread soaked in milk. Make sure not to get confused in this part of the recipe and follow the instructions carefully.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet - 17.6 oz
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Stale Bread - 3 pieces
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
  • Ground coriander - to taste
  • Butter - 1.1 oz
  • Cardamom - to taste
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Milk - 3 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1 Image

Step 1

Remove the crusts from the bread and soak it in milk.

Step 2 Image

Step 2

Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces. Also, chop the onion coarsely.

Step 3 Image

Step 3

Pass the chicken and onion through a meat grinder.

Step 4 Image

Step 4

Add bread and an egg to the minced meat: the bread soaked in milk will ensure the patties are juicy, while the egg will bind the mixture together.

Step 5 Image

Step 5

Press the garlic through a garlic press, add the softened butter, salt, and spices to taste. Mix well.

Step 6 Image

Step 6

Wet your hands with cold water and shape the patties into equal sizes, slapping them in your palms to remove any air bubbles from the filling. To make it easier to form the patties of the same size, you can use a spoon to measure the filling.

Step 7 Image

Step 7

Coat the patties in flour.

Step 8 Image

Step 8

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil and add the patties. Cook over medium heat for 7–10 minutes until golden brown.

Step 9 Image

Step 9

Flip the patties and fry for another 7–10 minutes. To check for doneness, pierce a patty with a toothpick — clear juices should run out. If the juices are pink, reduce the heat, cover the skillet with a lid, and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
