Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet - 4 pieces
  • Bacon - 4 pieces
  • Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
  • Melted Cheese - 21.2 oz
  • Thyme - to taste
  • Rosemary - 1 piece
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Rinse the chicken breast, remove any excess (since it has a small muscle, I also make a shallow cut along the larger muscle), then season the breast with salt and pepper.

Step 2

Place the cheese, cut into wide strips, into the slit and the existing opening. Wrap the chicken breast in bacon, not too tightly so it doesn't fall apart, and secure with toothpicks to keep the cheese inside (I like to let some cheese stick out since it looks nicer when it melts). Add thyme and rosemary, according to your preference.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 392°F.

Step 4

Grease a baking sheet or oven-safe dish with olive oil and arrange the chicken breasts in it.

Step 5

Bake for 20-30 minutes until cooked through.
