Ingredients

  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Prosciutto - 3 slices
  • Chicken fillet - 1 piece
  • Chicken Broth - 7 fl oz
  • Cream 22% - 3 fl oz
  • Parsley - 0.7 oz
  • Basil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 356°F. Place the garlic cloves in the center of a square piece of foil, drizzle with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, wrap tightly in the foil, and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes. The garlic should become soft, and its flesh should easily squeeze out of the skin.

Step 2

Lay the slices of prosciutto so that one slightly overlaps the other. Season the chicken breast with salt and place the piece on the prosciutto. Fold the edges of the prosciutto over the top so that the fillet is completely wrapped.

Step 3

Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet and sauté the chicken fillet wrapped in prosciutto for 2–3 minutes on each side. Transfer to a baking dish, place in the oven, and cook for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven.

Step 4

In a small saucepan, reduce the broth by half, add the cream and 3 cloves of roasted garlic. Reduce the broth further by half and strain through a sieve. Add the chopped herbs.
