Description
A wonderful dish that, despite its intricate appearance, is not difficult to make. To prepare Chicken Cordon Bleu, you need to have patience, as you'll have to carefully slice and pound the chicken breast. You'll also need a good piece of cheese, which, along with ham, is hidden within the cutlet. We have tested this recipe many times, so we also want to advise you to take the selection of ham seriously — its flavor is quite noticeable here.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Ham - 0 oz
- Swiss Cheese - 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 15 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 5 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 5 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Cut the chicken breast lengthwise and open it like a book.
Step 3
Cover with plastic wrap and pound.
Step 4
Place thin slices of ham and cheese on the fillet.
Step 5
Seal the fillet to prevent the cheese from leaking. Tightly wrap the chicken in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 6
After 1 hour, coat the rolls in flour. Then dip them in beaten egg.
Step 7
Coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 8
Sear the chicken on both sides in vegetable oil, ensuring that the rolls are partially submerged in the oil.
Step 9
Then place them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 10
In a preheated oven at 355°F, cook the fillet until done for 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the size of the fillet.
