Description
From 500 grams of fillet, you should get about 20–30 cutlets, depending on their size. In this recipe, as in many that I use, you can do whatever your heart desires; the set of ingredients and their quantities can vary in any direction. However, I will try to provide exact figures for reference.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Chicken fillet - 17.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 2½ tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet and cut it into very small pieces, about 1 cm by 1 cm.
Step 2
Place everything in a deep bowl, add the eggs, garlic, mayonnaise, flour, salt, and pepper to taste. Additionally, you can add finely chopped herbs, substitute garlic with onion, and use other spices besides salt and pepper. It all depends on your taste.
Step 3
The mixture should have a consistency similar to pancake batter, meaning it should not be thick; do not overdo it with the flour. (You can let this mixture sit for a while to allow the flavors to meld, but it's not necessary).
Step 4
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Using a tablespoon, take some of the mixture and place it in the pan, shaping the edges to resemble a small pancake. Place as many of these mounds in the pan as will fit. A standard frying pan can hold 4–5.
Step 5
Fry on both sides.
