Description
The cutlets turn out to be diet-friendly since they don't need to be fried in oil. You can optionally add a piece of butter instead of cheese for juicier cutlets. Egg whites can also be used as an intermediate step in breading. If you want to further reduce calorie content, you can skip the oil and cheese. The cutlets may be a bit dry, but they will fully align with your healthy eating principles.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 17.6 oz
- Cottage cheese - 0.7 oz
- Cheese Spread - 1.4 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
- Salt - a pinch
- Red Long Chili Peppers - a pinch
- Butter - 0.4 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 0.7 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken fillet into pieces and place them in a blender bowl.
Step 2
Add spices and salt.
Step 3
Add cottage cheese (preferably fatty, block-style). If you don't have fatty cottage cheese, you can use lower-fat cottage cheese but add a piece of butter to prevent the cutlets from being dry. Optionally, you can add grated cheese. Then blend the ingredients in the blender. It is advisable not to overblend — it’s better for the meat to retain its structure; otherwise, the cutlets may turn out too dense.
Step 4
Pour the breadcrumbs into a separate container. Cut the cheese into pieces (Adyghe cheese is suggested in the recipe). Take a spoonful of the mixture from the blender, place a piece of cheese in the center, shape the cutlets, and coat them in breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Place the cutlets on a preheated mesh tray.
Step 6
Select the 'Chicken' program, or if there isn't one, manually set the temperature and time (at 410°F for 13 minutes, they turn out perfectly).
Step 7
Once cooking is complete, serve.
