Description
Chicken cutlets with cheese and raisins
Ingredients
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Ground meat - 17.6 oz
- Hard Cheese - 1.1 oz
- Cream - 3 tablespoons
- Raisins - 1 tablespoon
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 1 tablespoon
- Beans - 4 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
It is better to use stale bread. Cut off the crust and slice it into thin strips about 1.5–2 cm long. Add to the ground meat (preferably coarsely ground, but it’s not critical) the cream, salt, and pepper. Mix well for a few minutes. The mixture will become somewhat sticky.
Step 2
Mix the butter with grated cheese and rinsed raisins, form elongated patties, and place them in the freezer for about 30 minutes. It is advisable to line the plate with plastic wrap beforehand, so the patties won’t need to be scraped off the plate with a knife.
Step 3
Place the mixture in a damp hand, put the cheese patty in the center, fold the edges, and shape our cutlet. Do this while periodically wetting your hands in water. We need to get a smooth, flat cutlet.
Step 4
Lightly beat the egg with milk. Dip the cutlets in the egg, then in breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Fry in vegetable oil for about 5 minutes on each side over medium-low heat. Do not cover with a lid.
