Ingredients
- Chicken Drumstick - 8 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Butter - 5 tablespoons
- Bacon - 3.5 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pickled Chanterelles - 3.5 oz
- Spanish onions - 20 heads
- Red Grape Juice - 2 cups
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Khmeli-suneli - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Herbes de Provence - 2 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix 4 tablespoons of flour, salt, and pepper in a plastic bag. Place the drumsticks in the bag and shake to coat with the flour mixture.
Step 2
Heat a mixture of vegetable and butter in a saucepan. Sauté the chopped bacon and onions. Add the chopped mushrooms and fry for 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3
In the hot oil, add the drumsticks and fry until golden brown. Add wine, sugar, salt, garlic, spices, and herbs. Simmer for 20 minutes. Transfer to the plate with mushrooms and onions.
Step 4
Thicken the sauce by adding 1 tablespoon of butter and flour from the bag, stirring well. Add the sautéed mushrooms, onions, and bacon. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Arrange the drumsticks beautifully on a large plate and pour the sauce over them. Serve with boiled potatoes, sprinkled with chopped herbs.
