Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 26.5 oz
- Soy Sauce - 4½ tablespoons
- Onion - 2 heads
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Broth - 20 fl oz
- Tamarind Paste - 4.2 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Make the marinade. To do this, mix the soy sauce, chopped onion, garlic, peppers, and cumin.
Step 2
Cut the fillet into large pieces and mix it in a bowl with the marinade.
Step 3
Cover and let marinate for 1 hour.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the meat over high heat.
Step 5
Add the broth and tamarind paste. Reduce the heat and simmer until the meat is cooked and the liquid has reduced by 2/3.
Step 6
Add flour or starch to thicken the sauce.
Step 7
Serve with rice, and you can sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
