Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 2 lbs
- TABASCO® - 0 fl oz
- Fresh basil leaves - 0.4 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Baking Tomatoes - 14.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chilled fillet into 2 cm cubes.
Step 2
Sauté in a large hot skillet, cooking each side until golden brown, for a total of 6–8 minutes.
Step 3
Add the dried basil (add green beans or bell pepper).
Step 4
Cook over medium heat for another 2–3 minutes.
Step 5
Without reducing the heat, add 8 drops of TABASCO. IMPORTANT: do not add the sauce to the other ingredients; pour it onto the bare hot area of the skillet. This way, you will eliminate the sour taste of the sauce.
Step 6
Then mix everything together.
Step 7
Add the tomato pulp, previously blended into a smooth mixture, to the skillet.
Step 8
Add a little salt and, stirring, cook until done – another 5–7 minutes or until the tomatoes thicken.
