Description
The result should be a juicy chicken fillet with an apple sauce. Optionally, you can add one onion, sliced into half-rings and layered between the chicken fillet and apples. It's best to use white or red onions. It's better to use chicken thighs or legs, but chicken breasts can also be juicy; in this case, they should be cut into slices 2–3 cm thick. Some may find it more convenient to cut the fillet into pieces from the start, but I prefer to cut it after the dish is prepared.

Prepare the chicken fillet — remove the skin and trim the fat.
Step 2
Cut the apples into thick rounds/slices.
Step 3
Layer the chicken fillet and apples in a non-stick dish (15 cm in diameter): 1st layer — chicken fillet; 2nd layer — apples; 3rd layer — chicken fillet; 4th layer — apples.
Step 4
Cover the dish with a lid and place it in a preheated oven (392°F) for 25 minutes.
Step 5
Afterward, turn off the oven and let the dish sit inside for another 5–10 minutes (though this step is optional, it makes it taste better).
