Description
Mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream, and those who like it spicier can also add adjika.
Ingredients
- Chicken gizzards - 17.6 oz
- Salad Potatoes - 4 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Parsley - 1 bunch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the onion into half-rings and sauté it. Meanwhile, rinse the gizzards thoroughly, cut them in half, and add them to the slightly browned onion. Fry over medium heat without a lid, stirring occasionally, for about 5–7 minutes. Pour in less than a glass of hot water from the kettle, cover with a lid, bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 20 minutes, then add spices to taste (black pepper, parsley).
Step 2
While the gizzards are frying, peel the potatoes and cut them into fairly large pieces. Add the potatoes, then add the mayonnaise, mix, and if there is not enough water, add a little more, season with salt, cover with a lid, and simmer for another 15–20 minutes (until the potatoes are cooked). Turn off the heat and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
