Chicken Heart Skewers
Ingredients
- Chicken hearts - 8.8 oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Red Wine Vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Chili Flakes - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Trim the fat and excess vessels from the hearts. Place in a marinating tray.
Step 2
Add the oil.
Step 3
Add the soy sauce.
Step 4
Add the tomato paste.
Step 5
Add the wine vinegar.
Step 6
Add a spoonful of honey.
Step 7
Mix thoroughly and let sit for at least 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, soak the skewers in cold water for 10–15 minutes.

Line a baking dish with parchment paper. Thread the hearts onto the skewers and arrange them on the dish.
Step 10
Place in a preheated oven at 356°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20–25 minutes. If the oven has multiple settings, use the least powerful one.
Step 11
Transfer the skewers to a plate and serve. You can sprinkle with chili flakes.
