- Chicken hearts - 2 lbs
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Cream - 8 fl oz
- Salt - 0.4 oz
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken hearts in half, remove excess parts, and rinse well under running water.
Step 2
Cover with water and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Once the water boils, add salt and cook until done.
Step 4
Slice the onion into half rings.
Step 5
Cut the carrot into small cubes.
Step 6
Heat the frying pan well, pour in the vegetable oil, and add the butter.
Step 7
Fry the onion until golden brown.
Step 8
Add the carrot.

Drain the cooked hearts in a colander.
Step 10
Add the hearts to the vegetables and mix.

Reduce the heat and gradually pour in the cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until thickened.
