Chicken in Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

  • Poultry - 1 piece
  • Barbecue sauce - 3.5 oz
  • Dried Chamomile - 0.4 oz
  • Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
  • Garlic - 5 cloves

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Crush the garlic, mix it with olive oil and dried herbs.

Step 2

Wash the chicken, pat it dry with paper towels, rub it with salt and pepper, and coat it with the garlic mixture. Then place it on a baking sheet, tie the legs and wings with thick string, as shown in the photo. Place the chicken in a preheated oven at 482°F for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Remove the chicken, brush part of the barbecue sauce on it with a special brush, and return it to the oven at 356°F for 1.5 hours. During this time, open the oven several times and apply sauce to the chicken. For the last time, coat the chicken and place it in the oven at 482°F for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Half an hour before the chicken is done, you can add sliced potatoes, drizzling them with the garlic and herb oil (see step 1).
