Chicken in Beer with Rice
Ingredients
- Poultry - 1½ pieces
- Beer - 17 fl oz
- Rice - 1 cup
- Mild Chili Spice - ½ piece
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Spanish onions - 1 head
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Thyme - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Saffron - a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the prepared chicken into pieces and marinate for 1 hour in beer with minced garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Step 2
Slice the onion into thin rings, chop the chili pepper. Chop the herbs.
Step 3
Sauté the chicken in butter for 3-4 minutes on each side. In the same butter, sauté the onion with the pepper and herbs. Combine with the chicken and place in a deep microwave-safe dish.
Step 4
Strain the marinade and add saffron to it.
Step 5
Rinse the rice and add it to the dish with the chicken and vegetables, pouring the marinade over it so that the rice is completely covered. If necessary, add more beer.
Step 6
Cook in the microwave for 30 minutes at full power.
Step 7
Sprinkle the finished dish with chopped cilantro or parsley.
