Ingredients
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Poultry - 3 lbs
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Chicken Broth - 8 fl oz
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- Ground coriander - a pinch
- 70% Dark Chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 1 teaspoon
- Onion - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the chicken, pat it dry, and cut it into 8 serving pieces. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water, then peel them. Cut each tomato into 4 pieces, remove the core, and dice the flesh. Grind the almonds into flour. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds, and finely chop them. Grate the chocolate on a coarse grater.
Step 2
Mix the tomatoes with the almonds and flour. Add coriander and salt, and stir well.
Step 3
In a saucepan, heat the oil and sauté the chicken on all sides for 6 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer the chicken to a plate. Add the onion, garlic, and chili pepper to the saucepan and sauté for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Return the chicken to the saucepan, add the broth, and simmer for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the chicken from the saucepan and keep it warm. Add the tomatoes with spices to the saucepan, stir, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 7
Stir in the chocolate and whisk the sauce. Place the pieces of chicken on a plate and drizzle with the sauce.
