Ingredients
- Chicken bones - 8 pieces
- Rice - 3.5 oz
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 head
- Water - 1 cup
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In one skillet, fry the chicken legs/thighs until golden brown.
Step 2
In another skillet, sauté the carrot, onion, and tomato paste.
Step 3
Transfer the vegetables to a pot or saucepan.
Step 4
Place the chicken on top of the vegetable bed.
Step 5
Add salt and pepper.
Step 6
Sprinkle with rice.
Step 7
Pour in water so that the rice is covered by a couple of centimeters.
Step 8
Cover with a lid.
Step 9
Simmer on low heat for about 40 minutes.
Step 10
Ten minutes before it's done, insert the head of garlic in the center and continue to simmer covered.
