Ingredients

  • Poultry - 2 lbs
  • Tomatoes - 17.6 oz
  • Celery stalk - 1 piece
  • Onion - 1 head
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper - to taste
  • Paprika - to taste
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Dry White Wine - 3 fl oz
  • Chicken Broth - 4 fl oz
  • Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Wash the chicken, pat it dry, rub it with salt and ground black pepper, and cut it into 8 pieces.

Step 2

Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Rinse the celery and tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Heat olive oil in a saucepan, fry the chicken until golden brown, and transfer it to another dish.

Step 3

In the saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes. Add the celery, tomatoes, tomato paste, and paprika, and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Pour in the wine and broth, add the fried chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and simmer covered for 40 minutes over medium heat. Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve, garnished with chopped parsley.
