- Chicken Thighs - 15.9 oz
- Grated Ginger Root - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 2 teaspoons
- Potato protein - ⅓ cup
- Sake - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together ginger, garlic, soy sauce, sake, and sugar. Add the chicken to the mixture and stir to ensure the marinade evenly coats the chicken pieces. Cover with a lid and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 2
Add vegetable oil to a heavy-bottomed pot and heat the oil to 356°F. Pour potato starch into a bowl.
Step 3
Thoroughly coat the chicken pieces in potato starch so that they are evenly covered.
Step 4
Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown. Place on paper towels to cool. Serve with lemon wedges.
