Description
This dish is a variation of chicken liver pâté, but it is prepared a bit differently (the liver pieces are large and a blender is not used). You can add any spices or vegetables as desired. Serve with sour cream and chopped green onions, either as a standalone dish or with a vegetable side. Beef liver can also be used, but it must be cleaned of membranes and cut into small pieces.
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 2 lbs
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 head
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Pickled garlic - 1 teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the carrot, peel it, and grate it on a coarse grater.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion.
Step 4
Sauté the onion and carrot in vegetable oil until cooked.
Step 5
Cut the liver into small pieces.
Step 6
Place the liver in a baking dish and add the prepared mixture of onion and carrot.

Mix everything together and add garlic salt (preferably with herbs).

Crack the eggs into a separate container.

Beat the eggs and add them to the other ingredients in the dish.

Mix and add the flour.
Step 11
Thoroughly mix the entire mass to avoid lumps of flour.
Step 12
Place in the oven at 356°F for 35–40 minutes.
Step 13
Bake until a golden crust forms. Cut into portions and serve.
