Description
You can use any variety of apples, but sour ones are better. If you like it spicy, you can add hot pepper to taste. The combination of liver, onions, and apples is quite unexpected, and the cooking method is fast, preventing the ingredients from overcooking.

- Chicken Liver - 2 lbs
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients and wash the liver.
Step 2
Peel the onion and slice it into half-rings.
Step 3
Core and seed the apples, then cut them into wedges.
Step 4
Place the flour in a bowl and mix it with salt.
Step 5
Coat the liver in the prepared flour and salt mixture (preferably one piece at a time, carefully on each side).
Step 6
Fry the liver in vegetable oil over medium-high heat for 3 minutes on each side. This should be done with a lid on, as the liver may splatter while frying.
Step 7
Transfer the cooked liver to a bowl.

In the same skillet used for frying the liver, sauté the onion.

Once the onion is ready, add the liver and gently mix.

Top with the apples.

Carefully mix everything together.

Add 1 cup of water and simmer covered for 10–15 minutes.
