Chicken Liver with Cheese
Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 17.6 oz
- Blue Cheese - 1.9 oz
- 10% cream - 5 fl oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 pieces
- Mixed Ground Peppers - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - ½ teaspoon
- Ocean salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the onion coarsely.
Step 2
Thoroughly rinse and dry the liver.
Step 3
In a deep skillet, heat the olive oil and add the onion.
Step 4
After 2 minutes, stir.
Step 5
Add the liver to the onion.
Step 6
Then add the butter.
Step 7
After 2–3 minutes, stir and reduce the heat. Cover with a lid.
Step 8
After 7 minutes, stir and pour in the cream.
Step 9
Add salt and pepper. Stir.
Step 10
After 1 minute, add the cheese.
Step 11
As soon as the cheese melts, add the nutmeg. Stir.
Step 12
After 1 minute, transfer to a deep dish, garnish with parsley, and serve.
