Ingredients
- Chicken Liver - 10.6 oz
- Chinese green beans - 15.9 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the green beans in boiling salted water for 5 minutes without thawing.
Step 2
Drain in a colander and rinse with cold water and ice to preserve color.
Step 3
Rinse the chicken liver, trim off veins and fat, and cut into large pieces.
Step 4
Peel the carrot and onion, and chop finely.
Step 5
Heat the butter in a skillet and sauté the onion for 3 minutes.
Step 6
Then add the carrot to the onion, stir, and sauté for another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Add the liver to the skillet with the onion and carrot and cook for 5 minutes, stirring.
Step 8
Add the sour cream and boiled beans, season with salt and pepper.
Step 9
Stir and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
