Chicken Meatballs with Mozzarella
Ingredients
- White bread - 3 pieces
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 1 piece
- Cream - 7 fl oz
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 1.1 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Breadcrumbs - to taste
- Melted Cheese - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the chicken meat.
Step 2
Soak the slices of bread (without crust) in cream for 10 minutes, then squeeze out the excess, mix with the chicken. Add salt, sprinkle with Parmesan, add the yolk, and mix while adding the remaining cream.
Step 3
Form the mixture into balls slightly larger than a walnut. Flatten each ball into a patty.
Step 4
Place a small cube of mozzarella in the center of the patty, roll it back into a ball, and dip it in egg white.
Step 5
Coat the meatballs in flour, dip again in egg, and roll in breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the meatballs on all sides until cooked through.
