Ingredients
- Garlic - 10 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - 6 pieces
- Chicken fillet - 31.7 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 0.3 cups
- Fish Oil - 1¼ tablespoons
- Soy Sauce - 2 teaspoons
- Sugar - 4½ teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Fresh basil leaves - 3 cups
- Jasmine Rice - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Chop the garlic cloves and transfer them to a mortar. Add the deseeded and chopped chili peppers. Grind everything well.
Step 2
In a wok or large skillet, heat the vegetable oil well, add the garlic mixture, and sauté, stirring, for about 20 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the chopped chicken and cook, stirring, for about 4 minutes until cooked through.
Step 4
Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and 1.5 teaspoons of pepper. Then add the basil and cook for another minute, stirring. Season with more pepper to taste and serve with boiled jasmine rice.
