Description
Of course, perfect slices of chicken fillet are rarely achieved, and there are always trimmings left. However, chicken fillet is wonderfully pliable, and mayonnaise does an excellent job of 'gluing' the pieces together. Therefore, I simply mold a 'patty' from these trimmings, placing a stick of cheese inside and wrapping it in bacon. After baking, they do not fall apart in the finished form.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet - 2 pieces
- Bacon - 10 slices
- Cheese Spread - 3.5 oz
- Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons
- Spices - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Cut the chicken breast fillet into thin slices lengthwise. Each slice should be about the size of a palm and very thin. Mix the spices (the ones you usually use for chicken; you can use ready-made blends for chicken dishes) with the mayonnaise. Coat the chicken with this mixture and let it marinate.
Step 3
Cut the cheese into sticks (about 0.5 centimeters thick). It's better to use pre-sliced bacon.
Step 4
Place a stick of cheese on each slice of chicken fillet and roll it up so that the cheese does not stick out.
Step 5
Wrap each roll in a slice (strip) of bacon. Place them in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Cover the dish with foil.
Step 6
Put it in the oven. After 40 minutes, remove the foil and let the bacon bake until it has a nice golden brown color.
