Description

Side dish: Rinse 1 cup of rice in water five times. Boil in a large amount of salted water, drain in a colander, rinse with cold water, and let it drain. Place the rice on a plate and drizzle with the juice from baking the chicken sausages.

Ingredients

  • Chicken Thighs - 3 pieces
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Cheese Spread - to taste
  • Turnips - 5 pieces
  • White bread - 2 slices
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
  • Herbes de Provence - to taste
  • Ground Dried Garlic - to taste
  • Salt - to taste
  • Vegetable Oil - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Carefully remove the skin from the thighs. Chop the meat finely or pass it through a meat grinder, sauté the onion. Grate the carrot on a fine grater, soak the bread in water and squeeze it out, then mix all the ingredients. Add salt and spices, and mix again.

Step 2

On a table, lay the chicken skin with the inside facing up. Place the filling on it, and a piece of cheese on top of the filling.

Step 3

Join the edges of the filling and neatly wrap it into a sausage. Sprinkle the top of the sausage with sweet ground red pepper. Place the chicken sausages in a deep frying pan or a small baking dish, previously pouring in 2–3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Step 4

Cut the remaining peeled carrots into slices, lightly salt them, sprinkle with spices, chop the onion into large pieces, and place them next to the sausages. Cover the dish with baking foil, place it in the oven, and bake at 392°F for 25 minutes.

Step 5

After 20–25 minutes, remove the chicken sausages from the oven, take off the foil, and brush the top of the sausages with grated cheese (2 tablespoons) mixed with two tablespoons of mayonnaise.

Step 6

Then place it back in the oven without foil and bake until a golden crust forms.
