- Lemon - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Saffron - a pinch
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon

Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a large bowl. Add finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Add the diced chicken and mix well.

In a mortar, crush the saffron with a pinch of sugar. Transfer to a cup and add 0.5 cup of boiling water. Let it cool.

Add the saffron mixture to the chicken, mix, cover with plastic wrap, and leave in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
