Description
Chicken Tapaka in Sour Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Poultry - 3 lbs
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Garlic - 1 head
- Dill - 1 bunch
- Sour Cream - 5.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken along the breast, remove the backbone, and rub with salt and pepper. Lay it as flat as possible in a large skillet, skin side down, place a weight on top, and refrigerate for a few hours (or overnight). You can use a pot filled with water as a weight.
Step 2
After that, pour some oil into the skillet under the chicken and fry over medium heat until a nice crust forms. Then carefully flip it over and fry on the other side over low heat.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce: mix sour cream with finely chopped dill and garlic.
Step 4
When the chicken is cooked on both sides, drain excess fat if there is too much, add the sauce to the skillet, and simmer the chicken in it for about 5 minutes.
